We are an active and involved church community! We are passionate about social justice issues. We support, either through member participation or providing meeting space, to the Campaign to End the Death Penalty—Chicago Chapter, Hyde Park Transitional Housing Project, Affordable Housing Advocates, Hyde Park and Kenwood Interfaith Council, and others.

Our Social Justice Ministry, a committee of folks who keep justice issues at the forefront of our consciousness, meets regularly to plan Christian Education classes, letter-writing campaigns, and boycotts.
