Children & Youth

Our youth are at the center of our church community. We love, respect, and regularly invite them to participate in every aspect of church life, including board leadership!

Each Sunday children and youth are invited to:

Collect the Benevolence offering: one of our weekly offerings, collected by children in the congregation, goes directly to those in our community who are in immediate need of financial support.

Youth Church: children in grades K-6 have curriculum-guided worship in the library across the hall from the sanctuary. It’s a time when they can share with each other and worship in their own style.

Confirmation Class: Middle school-aged youth (ages 11-13) are invited to this special time of exploring their faith with peers, asking questions, and learning more about University Church. At the end of the multi-week session, youth will be prepared for confirmation, baptism, or supported in their decision to opt out of either.
