Allen Reynolds is a rising senior Television Production Major, Business Administration Minor at Howard University in Washington, DC. He is serving 6 weeks as an intern with University Church through the Lilly Summer Discernment Institute program at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
He will be shadowing Pastor Julian DeShazier as well as serving the church in the process of discerning his own call to ministry. On campus Allen is involved in a myriad of activities including serving as Parliamentarian of the Walter H. Annenberg Honors Program, Captain of the Howard University Speech & Debate Team, and as Chairman of Wednesday Night Live Planning Committee, which is a contemporary worship service run by students.
Upon graduation from Howard University Allen hopes to pursue a career in full time ministry through teaching, preaching, and sharing the gospel in a variety of locales with various media, as well as serving the community with all that he has been gifted with. Allen also plans to pursue entrepreneurship in creation of speech, debate, and empowerment workshops for students of all ages.
