We are excited to welcome Michele Ellis to our staff as the new Youth Minister. Michele (pronounced “Michael”) is from Chicago and has been in the United Church of Christ her entire life (her home church is Trinity UCC). She has a wealth of experience working across all age categories with youth, but most importantly has BIG DREAMS and a genuine, spirit-filled passion for youth and emerging adults. We welcome her with open hearts as she finishes the final year of her M.Div program at McCormick Theological Seminary,
The youth met her November 18, and her first Sunday worshipping with us was November 20. She has already begun coordinating our Junior Church and Confirmation class programs.
