On Saturday, July 20, University Church is hosting a Family Resource Day located at 5655 S. University. This is not your regular block party, but an indoor and outdoor event connecting local residents with healthcare service providers, presentations on financial wellness and mental health, assistance to immigrant populations, and youth services. Children will also have games and activities, with music, food, presentations, and giveaways scheduled throughout the day.
We will also be receiving donations of water or money to send to assist the Village of University Park in its current water crisis.
This event is free, will last from 10am-4pm (Resource Fair ends at 2pm)
There is still space available for resource organizations to sign up for a table. We want to help ensure that families have access to the full range of services and resources available to them on the Southside.
